Whether you prefer it crumbled, spread, or melted, goat cheese adds depth and richness to any meal. Here are five delicious recipes to try using this delightful cheese.

1. Goat Cheese and Honey Crostini

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced
  • 150 g goat cheese
  • 30 ml honey
  • 10 g chopped walnuts
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Toast in the oven for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Spread goat cheese on each slice, drizzle with honey, and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  5. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.

2. Spinach and Goat Cheese Stuffed Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 150 g goat cheese
  • 100 g fresh spinach, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic and spinach until wilted. Let cool.

  • 10 g chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 100 ml of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the pasta, reserved water, and crumbled goat cheese, stirring until creamy.
  4. Stir in fresh basil and parsley, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve warm with extra herbs on top.
