While the holiday’s dietary restrictions mean skipping traditional flour-based desserts, there are still plenty of sweet treats that are completely kosher for Passover and just as indulgent. From rich chocolate cakes to light and fruity delights, here are eight of the best Passover desserts to sweeten your celebration.

1. Flourless Chocolate Cake

This decadent, fudgy cake is a Passover classic that’s as rich as it is simple.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 g cocoa powder
  • 2 g salt

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter together.
  3. Whisk eggs, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Fold in the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Pour into the pan and bake for 25 minutes.

2. Matzo Toffee

Crunchy, caramelized, and covered in chocolate—this treat is addictively good.

Ingredients:

  • 4 sheets of matzo
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g brown sugar
