Ennock Mlangeni, born in Petrus Steyn and raised in the streets of Zamdela, Sasolburg, has become a sensation in the art world for his versatility and creativity. Known for using diverse mediums, including pen, coffee, fridges, and even swimming pools, Mlangeni has made a significant impact with his art. His journey from creating viral portraits, such as the iconic image of the late Winnie Madikizela Mandela, to showcasing his work on international stages, is a testament to his talent and determination.
The mural created by Ennock encapsulates the essence of the “Make Your World” campaign. Utilizing actual coffee in his art, Mlangeni has crafted a rich tapestry of textures that symbolize the transformative power of the brew. The NESCAFÉ Room is open to the public until June 30, 2024, at Sandton City Checkers Centre Court, offers visitors a chance to explore and engage with various immersive zones, including the Classic, Cappuccino, and Gold Zones. Each area provides a unique coffee experience, complemented by the interactive touchpoints and the awe-inspiring mural by Ennock Mlangeni while enjoying the Strong yet Smooth Bar, and capturing moments at the Reflective Seat Photo Opportunity.
