Craving a decadent treat that combines the classic flavors of cookies and cream into one irresistible concoction? Look no further than this delicious Cookies and Cream Milkshake recipe. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth on a warm day or whenever the mood strikes, this creamy delight is sure to become a favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup of milk (adjust for desired thickness)
  • 4 chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreos), plus extra for garnish
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cookies: Start by separating four chocolate sandwich cookies. Scrape off the cream filling and set it aside for later use. Place the cookie halves into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend with Ice Cream: Add the vanilla ice cream to the blender or food processor with the cookie halves. Pour in the milk to help with blending.
  3. Blend Until Smooth: Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. If the milkshake is too thick, add more milk, a little at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  4. Add Cookie Cream Filling: Take the reserved cream filling from the cookies and add it to the blender. This will enhance the cookie flavor and add extra creaminess to the milkshake.
  5. Blend Again: Blend the mixture once more until the cream filling is fully incorporated.
  6. Serve and Garnish: Pour the Cookies and Cream Milkshake into glasses. Top with whipped cream, if desired, and garnish with crushed cookies or a drizzle of chocolate syrup for an extra indulgent touch.
  7. Enjoy!: Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy, cookie-filled goodness of this homemade milkshake.

Tips:

  • For a thicker milkshake, use less milk and more ice cream.
  • Feel free to customize your milkshake by adding additional mix-ins such as chocolate chips, peanut butter, or caramel sauce.
  • For a vegan version, substitute dairy-free vanilla ice cream and plant-based milk.
  • Get creative with your garnishes! Crushed cookies, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder can add visual appeal to your milkshake.

Whether you’re treating yourself to a solo indulgence or whipping up a batch for friends and family, this Cookies and Cream Milkshake is guaranteed to delight taste buds and satisfy cravings. Enjoy the creamy goodness and savor each spoonful of this irresistible treat.
