Berry Queen: the Miss South Africa inspired energy drink now available at Clicks countrywide

Berry Queen – the Miss South Africa inspired energy drink – is now available in Clicks stores and at more than 900 outlets nationwide, along with the other Mofaya flavours. Berry Queen, a pink-coloured, berry-flavoured sparkling drink was created in a collaboration between the energy drinks company and Miss South Africa and comes in a striking white, pink and gold can.

MoFaya is the first proudly black-owned energy drink in South Africa and was co-founded by DJ Sbu (Sibusiso Leope) and Siphiwe Likhuleni Shongwe in 2013. The celebrated brand has since become a force in the South African marketplace and is the official energy drink sponsor of Miss South Africa.

To its millions of loyal consumers, MoFaya has come to colloquially mean “More Fire”, describing the deep-rooted internal burning desire, passion and motivation it inspires and which neatly aligns with its catchy slogan “IGNITE YOUR MIND”.

“We have always wanted our story to ignite passion and inspire those who have started to empower themselves, and those who are thinking of starting a business,” said DJ Sbu.

Clicks is the country’s leading health, beauty and wellness retailer and the largest retail pharmacy chain. The MoFaya listing is a feather in the cap for Clicks and shows its support for empowerment and transformation.

Miss South Africa is presented by Weil Entertainment in association with Sun International. S3 is the official broadcast partner.
