Maple pecan muffins are a delicious treat that embodies the flavors of autumn. These homemade muffins are infused with the rich, sweet taste of maple syrup and the crunchy goodness of pecans. They are the perfect companion for a cozy morning or an afternoon snack. In this article, we will share a delightful recipe that will guide you through the process of baking maple pecan muffins that will warm your heart and tantalize your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions:

  1. Preheat and Prepare:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the cups with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup until well blended.
  4. Incorporate the Wet and Dry Ingredients:
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and gently fold them together using a spatula. Stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  5. Add the Chopped Pecans:
Gently fold in the chopped pecans into the batter. Make sure the pecans are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Fill the Muffin Cups:
Using a spoon or an ice cream scoop, divide the batter equally among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake to Perfection:
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. The muffins should be golden brown on top.
  8. Cool and Enjoy:
Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow the muffins to cool in the pan for a few minutes. Transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely or enjoy them while still warm. The combination of maple and pecans will create a comforting and irresistible aroma.

Maple pecan muffins offer a delightful taste of autumn with their rich maple flavor and crunchy pecan texture. With this recipe, you can easily bake a batch of delicious muffins that will fill your home with the comforting scents of fall. So, gather your ingredients, preheat your oven, and indulge in the warmth and sweetness of homemade maple pecan muffins.
